Trip to Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do

Took a short trip to Pocheon in Gyeonggi-do in Fall for a little healing and time off from school. Went with a bunch of friends from the traveling program I joined last year. This time, it was a little less hectic and a little more relaxation with nature. We went to one of the national parks there which boasted a beautiful lake, mountains and the beautiful red leaves complimented well with the surroundings.

Took a really long walk around the place till it was time to move on to the next area: Korean snack making. It's some sort of a fried snack that was mixed together with sweetened flakes. Quite a light and interesting snack. We were all able to make our own and pack it home for our friends.

Ended off the trip at herb garden where we had an aroma feet massage and thereafter a walk around the place because they had lights on and also a play pen with donkeys where you can buy carrots to feed them! It was quite a memorable experience and somewhat a great getaway trip for friends who want to see something more of Korea than just cosmetics and shopping.
