BTS Spring Day Film Location, Iryeong Station

If you're a huge BTS fan or part of the BTS Army, then the Iryeong Station should be one of the places on your list. It is one of the film locations of BTS's "Spring Day". It's located not too far away from Seoul and it makes for a perfect day trip out to see the outskirts of Seoul. Located in Yangju City, this place is less than an hour away from Seoul Station. It's considered a decommissioned train station since 2004 when passenger trains were suspended.

However, one thing to note is that they are still open to handle railroad crossings. For now, military-only trains still operate and stop at this station on certain occasions so when you're there please be careful. Stay on the platform at all times and be sure to check for incoming trains in the distance.

How To Get There

Iryeong Station (일영역)
327 Samsang-ri, Jangheung-myeon, Yangju, Gyeonggi-do
경기도 양주시 장흥면 삼상리 327

From Bulgwang Station (Line 3/Line 6) you can take Bus 360 for around 30 minutes and arrive at Iryeong Station.

The station has a really rustic feel to it and a very traditional and retro look. Many of the stations located on Line 1 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway has this feel, but have been renovated for the safety of its passengers. It's funny how rust can make you feel a lot more different about a place. (Probably also the fact that it's a decommissioned station).

Great Photo Spot

It's a great place for photography as well as taking a break from the stifling amount of people in Seoul. Great way to release some steam and relax by taking a trip out and checking this place out. This place has become relatively well known over the past year as many BTS fans sought to source out all the locations of the film sets and many locals have also been known to frequent these places for an Insaeng Shot (인생샷) or a Photo of your Life.
