This is way overdue... but still worth telling. We had this event called 일일호프 (il-il-hop-pe) which I THINK means work + beer. So beer in Korea is called hof, and since they do not have the letter 'f' in the Korean language, they pronounce it as hop-pe. So anyway, this event, as I heard, is usually for students from Yonsei who actually contact certain businesses within Sinchon and actually run the business, earning some percentage of the profits which is then used for other activities held.

Well it was just a whole night of me walking around through both places just to take photos. More often than not I got in their way since it was a small area, and I was carrying a huge camera bag as well. But anyways, it was a really fun day. I had a lot of fun seeing 19-20 year olds working, and it all reminded me of my younger days, except we're all in the same year for university... lol. But anyway, it was a great night of taking photos of people at work, and I really enjoyed doing something different from all the norms.

Everyone did a superb job, from the management all the way to the servers and promoters. But the most important thing was that everyone was having fun whilst doing it. That made it even more enjoyable being together and working. One thing that really makes or breaks a job is colleagues. If your colleagues are boring ass people who don't know how to have a good time while working, your road to earning money will be one hell of a snoozefest. But if your colleagues are fun, my oh my, you will have one of the most fun times in your entire life.

All in all, it was a great experience for me, and I do hope maybe next year I can take part as a server..?
Till next time ^.^
